The Week Ahead 20 - 26 July 2015: Migration, Taxation and economic affairs, Ukraine and Georgia.

- Migration. A joint delegation of the Budgets and the Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs committees will go to Sicily to examine how EU budget resources are spent to manage migration and refugee flows, as well as the system for reception, identification and retention of migrants. A joint delegation of the Budgets and the Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs committees will go to Sicily to examine how EU budget resources are spent to manage migration and refugee flows, as well as the system for reception, identification and retention of migrants. (Wednesday-Friday)

Taxation and economic affairs. An Economics and Monetary Affairs Committee delegation will go to Washington to discuss financial regulatory reform, macro-economic and monetary policies and tax issues, including shadow banking, executive pay regulation (bonuses) and country-by-country reporting, with Members of Congress, Senators and representatives of the US Treasury, IMF, Federal Reserve, and the Securities and Exchange Commission. (Monday-Wednesday)

Ukraine and Georgia. A delegation of the Foreign Affairs Committee and Human Rights Subcommittee will visit Ukraine to meet Ukraine political leaders including the President, the Prime Minister and members of the Verkhovna Rada. The Foreign Affairs Committee delegation will then travel to Tiblisi, Georgia, to meet, inter alia, the President, the Prime Minister and Members of Parliament. (Thursday-Saturday)
